18k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by Ceson Guldvaru, Gothenburg, Sweden

This elegant Modernist ring is crafted in solid 18k gold and showcases a striking facetted smoky quartz set within a distinctive sculptural mount. The stone’s rich, moody tones contrast beautifully with the smooth, polished gold, giving the piece a bold yet refined character. 

It was made in 1973 by the renowned Gothenburg jeweller Ceson Guldvaru (1955–1993).

The inner band is fully stamped with the Swedish hallmarks: 'K&EC' (maker), Gothenburg motif, 'Y9' (year), three crowns motif (Sweden), and 18k (material).

The gold band is in excellent vintage condition and retains its original shape well. As the original stone was damaged, it has been professionally replaced. 

This ring is medium sized and an AU N 1/2 (EU 55 & US 7) with a 17.32mm inner diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This ring can be resized.
