Mould-blown Glass Vases by Bo Borgström for Åseda

These beautiful Swedish vases belong to designer Bo Borgström's Bark series that he created for Åseda Glassworks (1947-1977) in the 1960s. They feature cola and pale honey coloured cased glass with an interesting relief pattern reminiscent of bark. The taller vase is known as pattern number B5/832 and the smaller as B5/830 (B stood for Borgström and 5 for vase). 

Bo Borgström (1929 -) is known for the iconic fun designs he created for Åseda glassworks in the 60s and 70s. His pieces usually had striking geometrical forms and came in a wide variety of colours. 

These vases are in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. The original label has been removed.
