Mould-blown Glass Vase by Bo Borgström for Åseda

This stunning vase belongs to designer Bo Borgström's Bark series that he created for Åseda Glassworks (1947-1977) in the 1960s. It features cola coloured cased glass with an interesting relief pattern reminiscent of bark. Known as model B5/832 (B stood for Borgström and 5 for vase), it is the tallest of three in the series. 

Bo Borgström (1929 -) is known for the iconic fun designs he created for Åseda glassworks in the 60s and 70s. His pieces usually had striking geometrical forms and came in a wide variety of colours. 

This vase is in excellent vintage condition with no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. The original label has been removed.
