Handmade 14k Gold Bernhard Hertz Ring, Denmark

This beautiful Modernist ring features a cluster of solid gold beads, which gives it a unique sculptural quality. 

Bernhard Hertz (1834-1909) was a famous Danish goldsmith, who established his own company named 'Bernhard Hertz A/S' in 1858. The company continued to produce jewellery under this name until it merged into 'Lund Copenhagen' in 1985. 

The ring is stamped 'Denmark' (country of origin) and 'BH (maker) 585 (14k gold)' It is a size M 1/2 (EU 52 & US 6.5) with a 16.92 diameter. It is in excellent vintage condition.
