Handblown Glass Vase by Bengt Orup for Johansfors Glassworks

This lovely tall vase belongs to Swedish artist Bengt Orup's 'Tona' series, which he designed for Johansfors glassworks in 1957, 'Tona' means 'fade' in English and references the beautiful ombre effect applied here. 

This piece is signed on the underside 'Johansfors Orup'. It is in good vintage condition with some very minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use. It has no notches, cracks or repairs. There is a faint water mark towards the opening that I have taken a photograph of.
