14k Gold & Smoky Quartz Ring by Auran Kultaseppä, Finland

This beautiful Modernist statement ring features handcrafted solid 14k gold with a large faceted pale smoky quartz in a raised claw setting. It was designed and made by Auran Kultaseppä Oy (1937-1995) in Turku, 1967. 

This ring is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: Auran Kultaseppä motif (maker), crown motif (Finland), '585' (14k gold), Turku motif (city) 'O7' (year).

It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with a perfect smoky quartz, which has a 15mm diameter. The band retains its original shape well. There is an internal engraving. 

The ring is medium sized. It is an AU size M (EU 52.5 & US 6.25) with a 16.7mm internal diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This band can be resized.
