18k Gold & Citrine Ring by Alton Guldvaru AB, Falköping

This gorgeous mid-century ring features solid 18k gold that beautifully frames a stunning facetted citrine in an elegant setting. It was designed and made by the well-known Swedish jeweller Alton in 1968. 

The ring is fully stamped with the Swedish hallmarks: 'Alton' (designer/maker), Falköping motif, three crowns motif (Sweden), '18k' (material) & 'S9' (year).

It is in excellent condition (outstanding for age). The lovely citrine (15mm diameter) remains whole and sits firmly in the setting. The band retains its original shape well. 

The ring is medium sized. It is an AU O 1/2 (EU 56 & US 7.5) with a 17.73mm inner diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. This ring can be resized. 

The stone appears a little darker in photos due to reflection.
