18k Gold & Pearl Earrings by Karl Erik Palmberg for Alton Guldvaru AB, Sweden

These lovely Modernist earrings feature solid 18k gold and luminous white pearls. Crafted by renowned Swedish jeweller Alton Guldvaru AB in 1963 and attributed to then head designer Karl Erik Palmberg, they showcase the clean, sculptural lines of Scandinavian Modern design with graceful geometric forms and timeless mid-century elegance.

Each butterfly is fully stamped with the Swedish hallmarks: 'KP' (designer/maker registered to Alton from 1946-1987), Falköping motif, '18k' (material), 'N9' (year) and the three crowns (Sweden).

The pair are in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The pearls are secure in their settings, the posts remain straight, and the original backs are intact.
